Meet Our Founder
Zyon DeVaughn
Hi! I'm Zyon DeVaughn, a proud member of Raleigh North Christian Center with a deep passion for people and a calling to advocate for those whose voices need to be heard. I discovered this purpose early in my adolescence while serving as a board member for the Young Advocates Institute through the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault.

Over the years, my advocacy work opened my eyes to the importance of safe, uplifting spaces; especially for young adults navigating faith, purpose, and community. I recognized a gap in my own city; while there were plenty of clubs and social scenes, there wasn’t a vibrant Christian community for young adults to connect, have fun, and grow spiritually.

That realization inspired The 99; a faith-based social experience that blends the energy of a night out with the atmosphere of worship and fellowship. It’s a space where we can come together, build relationships, and enjoy ourselves without compromising our values.

My mission is simple: to uplift, inspire, and create environments where people can be fully themselves while walking in their God-given purpose.
